• Business and financial data you enter or upload while using LekhaX: invoices, transactions, VAT and TDS records, and related accounting data for your organization.

• Communications you send us directly, such as support requests sent to hello@lekhax.com.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the LekhaX service.
• To generate VAT-compliant invoices and support IRD e-billing and TDS tracking on your behalf.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.

How we protect your data

Access to your organization's data is restricted to authenticated users who belong to that organization. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of financial data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, and we continue to invest in these protections as LekhaX grows.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data with:

• Infrastructure and hosting providers who process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
• Government bodies, including the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), where required for e-billing compliance or by law.
• Professional advisors (accountants, auditors) that you explicitly invite to access your organization's data.

Data retention

We retain your account and financial data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with applicable record-keeping and tax obligations under Nepali law. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Our website and app use essential cookies required for login sessions and basic functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
